I’m a first Generation Greek American who grew up in a union household. My passion for politics has been lifelong and I hold strong Democratic values close to my heart.  I have been involved in local politics since 2022 as a precinct chair. As precinct chair, I met and discussed local issues with constituents and relayed them to local politicians in order to better the community of McHenry County.

The American Dream is the dream that inspired me to run for office. The dream that every American can create a good life for them while leaving future generations the ability to improve on that lifestyle. It seems that politicians at every level of government have forgotten that dream, are actively working to impede it, or erode the trust of our public institutions.

For the past decade I have worked as a registered nurse specializing in critical care, led and directed an in hospital crisis response team,  hospice, and recently worked in case management. As an RN, I have gained valuable leadership experience, administrative experience, and  understand the importance of empathy , patience, and maintaining a calm composed attitude during crisis situations.

As coroner,  I fully intend  on supporting public health and justice while actively working on improving both for the citizens of McHenry County. I intend on creating dashboards to track opioid related deaths, suicides, and gun violence related deaths in our county so that the public and relevant safety/health officials can use this data to properply track and mitigate the public health issues that our county faces.

An investment in me, is an investment in the future as I am constantly striving for the best. Support me so I may serve the needs of McHenry County to the best of my ability in the role of Coroner.
